Zebadiah Benjamin Dover-Fitzgerald

And of course Great Gramma married another fellow washtub thumper (they seems to be growin' like rutabagers in them hills)! And being the strong woman that she was insisted on keeping the ancient Dover family name and adding the Fitzgerald moniker to the mix.

Great Grampa fought for the confederates during the civil war and took his faithful washtub bass everywhere with him. Aside from providing some much needed toe-tapping, leg-slapping entertainment it had saved his life on a couple of occasions as well as came in handy for hauling food, water and ammo when necessary.

Great Gramma was so relieved that Great Gramps made it back from the war with only bullet holes in his bucket and not his body that it didn't take long for Gramma to pop outta one gutbucket and into another!
