My friends and people I am a “fan” of will soon be featured here, or at least a link to their worlds of wonder!

BUSM

BUSM is short for "Big-Up Sour Mash" and they are my old friend and band mate Dan Cormier's sons Shawn and Dustin with their friend Mike on the drums.

Mike Burns

Mike is an old friend back from grade 7 where we met at Our Lady Of The Bay school when we played in the school band under Al Arbor. Mike was a friend and neighbour of Dan Cormier whom I met at the same time as he played drums in the school band.

Artemis Chartier

Artemis was a singer and acoustic guitar / keyboard player in The Genuines when I enjoyed performing with them. She has her own extensive career in music as a performer and educator.

David Chester

Dave is an old friend of Terry Mancini and owner of Chalet Studios. He plays keyboards in a few bands including some horn big bands with his wife Sheila-Marie.

Fred Collins

Fred and I go back to our high school days, even though we were in different high schools - he: Dunbarton and me: Pickering

I had played in several bands that had played with Fred's band "Midnight" over the years and when my friend and band mate Don Popert filled in on drums to allow Fred to step out up front and sing, their original bass player Herb Rosskoff had left the band so I joined. We played mostly Rush cover tunes including the song 2112 in it's entirety!

After the band broke up, my brothers Noel and Paul were practicing their chops and were ready to play in the band "Paradox" along with Fred on drums, Stu McGibney on keys, and myself on bass and lead vocals.

Taylor Comeau

Taylor is a talented guitarist and nephew of my late spouse Susan Williamson.

Anna Gutmanis

Anna is an accomplished Toronto musician and friend of Karen Dinardo whom I played in a couple of bands with along with Anna a few times.

I recorded Karen's backing vocals for Anna's song "People (Got To Get It Together)" from her "Glimmer In The Dark" album in my bathroom (the rest was recorded at Chalet Studios).

I played bass for Anna on her "Diamonds And Stiletto Shoes" and "Lately It's Cold" singles.

Mike Heron

Mike was an amazing guitarist and old friend of Dave Beno. I jammed with Mike a few times and saw his band play a few times as well.

Unfortunately, Mike was tragically killed when he took a break on the side of the highway while driving home from Hamilton after a gig and he was struck by a car and died immediately.

Terry Mancini

Terry joined our band Tardigrada after our lead singer James Wallace left and brought with him Jim Chesworth from Lifeline, so we changed our name!

I did some recording on Terry's solo songs at the Chalet Studio.

Jim Parker

Jim was the lead singer / guitarist / keyboardist / percussionist in "The Genuines". We performed mostly his original songs in the band. Jim has recorded many solo albums and was Polka Roo on The Polka Dot Door and voiced the puppet Alex on Mr. Dressup after spending years as a musician on the show.

Kyle Rigelhof

Nephew Kyle is my brother Noel's son. An incredible drummer and mostly into the "Screamo" stuff. Here he is drumming to Animals As Leaders "Lippincott"

Steve Rigelhof

Cousin Steve is a Detroit boy and started playing guitar after we introduced him to the wonders of the band Rush! He is an inspirational guitarist and has played in many bands.

Here he is with my brother Paul and his Go Go dancer and number one fan, his daughter Jess. That would be Brigette and Kailey in the background along with my brother Tony and I, and I believe Bob Daughty and his wife with perhaps me behind them.

Stephen Shelton

Steve played lead guitar in "Sister Mary Elephant" and has been a member of "The Lakeshore Boys" for many years.

Vezi Tayyeb

Vezi is the eldest son of my father Rick's old friend Ali Tayyeb from his Scarborough College days. Vezi is a Toronto music icon and owner of Kensington Sound. He has produced and played on many albums including Alannah Myles first album.

I recorded a few demos at his studio with Manchester and Targidrada.

Shiraz Tayyeb

Shiraz is Vezi's younger brother and a great musician in his own rite. I remember jamming with him in his parents basement when he was young. A great drummer he is still out there playing almost every weekend.

Mitch Tones

Son of Paul Tones, an old high school friend whom I have played in many bands with over the years. Good to see the musical torch being passed to the next generation.

James Wallace

James is an distinguised classic music flautist, and he agreed to play with our gang of weirdos starting with Random Motion through Tardigarda before deciding to go solo and do his own thing.

Glen Wilson

Glen is an exceptual guitarist and Pickering Village legend. I knew him through my friend and band mate Russell Devert from Rags high school days but only got the chance to jam with him once.
