Lyric:
YOU CAN WALK WITHOUT THOSE CRUTCHES Nov. 14/85 Karl Rigelhof

Religion is a crutch
For those who fear (to face) the truth
It (really) doesn't matter (all) (that) much
Which one that you (ab)use

We all are born
(But) while we live
We all must die
We learn together

We all are torn
The time/love/energy we give
To wonder why
Will flow from (me to you)/
There must be (something) (person to person) more
Forever

You can achieve/do anything you want to (do)
If you let nature/it take its course
Just tap into the god within (you(rself))
And s/let the power (come) forth

You must atone for your (own) actions
You can't ask/turn for/to someone/thing else to/for guid(anc)e (you through)
Ritual belief has/is a strong attraction
But it only leads to habitual avoidance

Man has his code of honour
(That) the laws of (every) society uphold
He only has to stop and wonder
Instead of (blindly) doing everything/what he is told

Why should we worship
It doesn't deserve it
The ideas/ideologies (that)
When we should (be) serv(ing) (we) serve (us) ourselves
Why should we believe (in)
To help serve each/(one someone/thing else an)other
When we should believe in ourselves

Living as brothers
We have one thing in common
One to another
We all must/can be strong

On a down to earth level
And stand on our own two feet
Not blaming it on the devil
(And) never (to) admit defeat

Like a spark
In the dark
Kindling the flame
Beginning once again
The feeling grows
The energy flows
Until it's a lightning flash/bolt
Tearing us apart
Only to join/melt us back together again
To fuse us into one
As we were from/at the start
