When I look into your eyes
I think of the moon lurking/hidden behind a silken/ghostly veil (of fog)
Surrounded by a silver halo
Setting the sky aglow (
Asking me if) I want to know
What/the secret(s)(/)desire(s) are hidden beneath/behind/below
Like a spring flower frozen by the winter snow
Waiting for a/the chance to grow

When I look into your eyes
It reminds me of a stormy sea
That line/horizon of grey (on grey) stretching out beyond infinity
And I wonder when the/that vault of clouds
Will unleash their intensity
(And) (I will)/to feel the(ir)/that rain washing over me
When I look into your eyes

I dream of a northern starlit night
With the moonbeams reaching out to me
Calling out my name
Holding me in their/its arms
Sheltering me from harm
Until (the) (light) (of) (the) dawn('s)/ (morning (sun))
(Is) reflect(ing/ed/s) (off of)/in your beautiful eyes
