She looks up into the night
And smiles back at the moon
All the stars are shining bright
Their chillness floods the room

Her eyes are filled with wonder
From the mystery she beholds
What was once torn asunder
Has now been made whole

Her body slightly trembles
As her voice begins to quiver
With the beauty she assembles
Her touch will draw a shiver
The intentions are commendable
For she is the forgiver

Whatever the outcome of the conflict
Mother Earth please forgive
The pain that we inflict upon you
We only want to live upon you
For the rest of our lives
